Weight Management

Weight Management

Many people simply associate weight loss with looking better in a swimsuit or getting back into those old pants. But the truth is that achieving and maintaining a healthy weight really can contribute to your overall lifestyle and health.

Extra weight puts you at risk for serious chronic health issues. Acid reflux, gallbladder disease, hypertension, endometrial cancer, adult-onset diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, knee and hip osteoarthritis, sleep apnea – those extra pounds boost your susceptibility to all of these ailments by anywhere from 2 to more than 6 times, depending on the disease. Obviously, then, weight management is a key to long-term health.

Our Boise Chiropractor weight management programs can help you lose that extra weight through proper nutrition and exercise. Reaching and maintaining a proper weight will contribute to your overall wellness.

Weight Management that Works!

If you thought we only did chiropractic work, think again. While you can still get the same treatment from a chiropractor that we have always offered, we have evolved over the years to provide holistic health solutions for athletes and non-athletes alike. So in addition to treating Back pain, Neck pain, headaches and other uncomfortable conditions, we educate individuals and families on nutrition, exercise, and smart lifestyle strategies for avoiding future health problems.

Our weight management programs make up a critical part of our treatment offerings. Whether you need to shed some excess pounds or just want to keep that weight off for good, our Boise Chiropractic clinic can help. We give the facts and guidance you need to better understand how proper nutrition and good lifestyle habits can extend and improve your life. You’ll learn why obesity occurs in the first place, how metabolism and pH affect the body and how to influence these factors, the importance of getting enough sleep, how certain medications and medical conditions affect weight gain, and how to exercise for weight loss. Not all weight management programs are created equal. Beware of “quick fix” clinics that promise instant results with no effort on your part – their so-called solutions are likely to prove ineffective, dangerous or both. Smart weight loss depends on the right combination and our Boise weight management program can help through proper nutritional protocols, exercise, and knowledge. We have built our program on making you healthier, not just thinner.

Having said that, we can definitely deliver the results you seek. By learning about the mechanisms that play a role in changing and maintaining your metabolism, you can safely take off anywhere 3 to 12 inches within a six-week period using a combination of our therapies that may include Lipo-light therapy, whole body cryotherapy, blood testing, nutritional protocols, and detoxification. These therapies will be tailored to your individual needs to get you the best results, making you not only thinner, but also healthier. Best of all, your new understanding of how to control your health will enable you to keep the weight off for life -something you could never do with crazy diets or drugs.

Do the right thing for your health, or help someone else struggling with weight issues to enjoy a better, longer life. Contact us today and let us do what we do best – help our Boise neighbors to Be Active, Be Healthy, 4-LIFE! Call us at 208-344-5433 to find out more about weight loss.
